The Importance of Hiring a Professional

I stopped by to see one of my clients when I noticed that he was working on what seemed to be a complex project that was frustrating him.  I inquired as to what he was working on and if I could be of any assistance.  He stated that he was trying to update his Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan as his plan was over 10 years old (his business is buying and selling car parts).  I asked him if he wrote all of his plans and was he any good at it?  He stated that it had been a long time since he wrote the last plan and that he had spent a lot of time on this current draft.  I laughed and suggested that he hire a consultant to write his plan since so that he could get back to what he is really good at.  I offered the name and number of a couple of consultants that we work with on a regular basis.

I followed up with this same client several weeks later and asked him how his plan was coming.  He stated that he contacted one of the consultants I recommended and they wrote his plan for a reasonable price.  He was very thankful for my suggestion and stated that he felt a relief of pressure off of his shoulders and he now he had freed up his time to focus on his business.

At H2O Environmental, we are very good at waste management, industrial cleanings, 24 hour emergency response, roll-off bin service, confined space entry along with other projects.  We can also use our network to find the right company to assist you if we are unable to do the job.  The moral of this story is stick to what you are good at and locate qualified individuals or companies who can help you do the things you are not so good at.  Especially when it comes to something like hazardous waste cleanup, please hire a pro and don’t attempt to do the job on your own.

If you have a waste management issue give H2O Environment a call.  We’re glad to help!
